Lessons learned on vacation

1. Sadly, I cannot sleep in a hammock.  Not for a lack of trying.  It was quite comfortable, though. Perhaps if I’d had a sweater…

2. I prefer stop-and-go traffic to inching-along-at-5-mph traffic. Why? Because in stop-and-go traffic one can tweet about how terrible the traffic is.  And more importantly, knit.  Mmm, woolen goodness.

3. Just because you’re not going that far, doesn’t mean the climate is the same.

4. Relaxing is hard work.

5. Always take a sweater.
