Wednesday Woolens: What’s your favorite knitting expression?

I just read Jasmin‘s description of “potato chip knitting” which in turn reminded me of the expression going around one of my favorite LYSes (sorry ladies, I don’t remember who said it first) about mistakes/design features in one’s knitting: “Can you see it from a prancing pony?” (If not, of course, the mistake does not need to be corrected.)

What are your favorite knitting (or other crafting) expressions? (Remember, if you comment, I donate $1 to the Red Scarf Fund!)

  1. Nancy Craig says:

“It is not a mistake, it part of an original pattern” My mother’s favorite expression for any and all sewing gaffes. Loved her excuse.
